If you could have only one super-power, what would it be... and how would you use it?
Okay, so I decided to participate in this featured question: If you could have only one super-power, what would it be... and how would you use it?
I would want to the ability to read peoples minds. Knowledge is power, and knowing what other people are thinking is the ultimate knowledge. Knowing such things could get you rich, allow you to maneuver yourself in an social, business, or political circles effectively and in my opinion would be the most practical super power. We as humans are social creatures by nature and having the ability to read peoples minds gives that person with that ability a major leg up in life.
As for other super powers, in all seriousness, what could you do with flying? You'd probably fly into a plane or something or a building, or crash...people can be very fragile and just look at what happens to a car when it crashes.
How about being invisible? Really useless unless you want to be a perv or steal things and the former would get old and the latter is just wrong.
Being indestructible? Dunno see what that would do for you unless you wanted to hurt people, it is not like we live in a war zone and are being shot at every day that we need to be indestructible, but I suppose it isn't a bad super power to have...
And the rest? Like having laser beams shoot out of your eyes, have super strength, can shoot webs out of your hands, super hearing, super speed, etc.? Not as good as being able to read peoples minds in my opinion.
Just incase being able to read peoples minds is out of the question...
I think as my number 2 I would choose Telekinesis (the ability to move things with your mind). It seems pretty cool, but it would probably just make you a more efficient couch potato, though I could see being able to do some good things with this one.
My number 3 would be the ability to heal rapidly, like Wolverine from the X-Men.
I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!

Telekinesis would be cool - I am definitely looking for more efficient ways to be a couch potato :)
