Hair Cut
On Monday I went to a student barber shop in downtown Manhattan. I had some time and since it seemed like a bargain at five dollars, I thought I would give it a shot. They had a disclaimer that I had to sign which basically said that I wouldn’t hold the place liable if any of their students maimed me. Then they asked me to pay upfront. I should have known then that I was making a foolish decision. The hair cut took almost two hours.
Yes, that’s right, almost two hours…the longest hair cut I have ever experienced. It should have taken a mere ten minutes. I do not thing the guy cutting my hair has ever picked up a pair of scissors before in his life.
His instructor came by several times to…well…instruct him, but after awhile he realized it was no use and the instructor took over the hair cut himself. It ended up becoming a lesson for the students there, and my head of hair the subject of that lesson. About ten students stood around me and watched as the instructor cut my hair.
In the end, it came out fine, but I was late to work and have no intention of repeating that experience every again.
Law Review
I spent a good several hours working on my law review assignment while at Touro. I also dealt with a few administrative matters while at the school and bought my books, which there are quite a few of. I am not close to being done with my law review assignment, but it is manage to be finished by Friday if I continue to work on it every day.
My Cold
I still feel blah, hopefully this cold wraps itself up tomorrow, I want to go to the gym and to jujutsu and tae kwon do, it is frustrating having to take it easy. I would have stayed longer at school, but I started having a headache and feeling light headed
