  • Quick Updates:

    - I’m going to be the Vice President of Loan Forgiveness for PILOT, a public interest organization at Law School.

    Church:

Today we went to a United Methodist Church.  The building was gorgeous, but once again, no bibles were present.  Everyone was friendly, but it just felt as though everyone was going through the motions, I didn’t see any real passion in service.  After the service there were donuts, cookies, muffins, and drinks available and we socialized with some of the congregation.

    Reading:

I finished two fiction books, The Dead Zone, by Stephen King and 100 Short Stories of Ray Bradbury.  That is 16 books completed this year, far short of where I wanted to be, but expected considering the first few months of the year I was in Law School.  The total for books read since high school (7 years) is as of today, 237 out of an ultimate goal of a 1000

    Other:

I will not be going to church next weekend due to a mandatory meeting for Law Review, so no church updates until two weeks from now.  Dayna has recommended a church for us to visit (which can be found in the comment of my last post) which we will visit at that time

yayyy awesome! I believe you'll find the passion there that you're looking for. They also have a college service that meets on friday nights at 8, although I know you guys keep a tight schedule.

And, if you were interested in maybe a younger college atmosphere, or just to keep hopping around until you find something that suits you, sometimes I go to Centerpoint Church, it's off of Merrick Road in bellmore. It's a smaller church and more intimate. http://www.centerpointonline.net/ ...that's their website where you can find service times and directions. They have a 7pm service in case mornings are not convenient or whatever. I enjoy it there too.
