I have decided to take a week off from Jujutsu and the gym to give my body a chance to recover. This will also give me some additional time to get work done that I’ve been meaning to do.
I learned a lot from my two losses. The first is that I need to increase my cardiovascular endurance. The second is that I need to practice takedown’s and takedown defenses, and third I need to better preplan tournament days.
For those of you that disagree with some of my pursuits (such as entering into jujutsu tournaments and possibly in the near future full contact MMA tournaments, or anything else), I will leave you with the following:
I assume there is no tomorrow. I have many dreams and I try to make those dreams a reality as fast and efficient as possible, whether those dreams be financial, social, fitness, experiences, knowledge…whatever it might be, either I plan them out now or I will end up like most of the people out there who look in the mirror at 30, at 40, at 50, at 60, and 70 and regret that they did almost nothing they dreamt of when they had the ability to fulfill their aspirations and dreams. The sad part of it all is that we do not even know if we will reach 30, 40, 50, 60, or even 70 years of age, it can all be gone tomorrow, so I am not one to put anything off. Live your desires today, you may not have a tomorrow to enjoy them in.
