  • I slept for fifteen hours between Friday and Saturday and then another few hours on Saturday, around mid day.  I do not know why I was so tired, but I suppose my body needed it.

My schedule was a mess all last week.  Hopefully this week I can get it back on track.

I’ve got a jujutsu tournament coming up on April 21st

I am going to try to begin flying regularly, something my schedule and the weather has been wreaking hell on…I’m going up the next free weekend I can find with clear skies

I am interested in pursuing aerobatic flying…but the nearest place was on long island and they no longer provide lessons, so I dunno…flying around for scenic pleasure is nice, but a plane can be used a bit more excitingly…like doing loop to loops and spins

Speaking of exciting…I also have the itch to go sky diving again.  I’m debating whether to get certified in it.  I seem to have a taste for time consuming hobbies which perhaps needs to be curtailed since I do not have the time for all these things…its just that it is all so fun.

On a completely separate note…I’ve been back on track with the index cards…I can clear a deck in about 9 minutes which is about 75 – 100 cards a day, so I will start adding new words and information cards soon.

For those that do not know, I go through a deck of self-made index cards with vocabulary words and others cards with factual information (for example all the presidents in order with the years of their presidency, or where all the states are, or information and dates on certain wars or other significant events in history, all the members of the current supreme court, etc.)

If I think I should know it, I memorize it – permanently, which as a side note has made me very good at memorizing things.  I use acronyms, mnemonic devices, image association, image maps, rote memorization, whatever works…it is just amazing the capacity of the human mind.

This seemed like a spastic post.  That’s what happens when you wait a couple of weeks to make a new post.
