The super for the apartment building I now live in died from an aneurism. Very sad, he was only in his fifties. It just goes to show that even though the average life expectancy for an American is in the late seventies there is no guarantee we will even reach that age…it can be over at any time, best to live life to its fullest and not put things off until later or forgo new experiences since there may not be a later.

My girlfriend can be a bad influence.
On the way home from the gym we were talking about what we should have for dinner and she mentions that there is some Wendy’s in the fridge and there was ice cream cake in the freezer.
I did not need to know that.
If there is unhealthy food in the house I will most likely eat it. I tell everyone not to bring such things into the house, no one listens. I like to have one cheat day a week to eat junk….not multiple days, but what ends up happening if unhealthy tempting food is in the house like fast food, especially when my girlfriend clearly is eyeing it up for a meal, is that we will end up eating it…I just hope someone else gets to it before it is brought up again.
For our own place we made a rule…whenever we go shopping at a supermarket, we must BOTH agree on an item to buy it…this way hopefully one of us is thinking straight and we don’t buy any unhealthy nonsense while we are there. It is very easy to eat unhealthy. It is a much greater challenge to watch ones portions and eat right.

Jujutsu was cancelled (I wasn’t aware. I did the thirty minute drive to class only to find a closed dojo). Sensei is on vacation until next Wednesday. I’m going to try to get some of the guys together to practice in the mean time, but this time of year everyone’s schedules are hectic.
