On Saturday I finished Level 3 of improv. I will hold off on beginning Level 4 for awhile. I felt that it took a lot out of me when my energy could have been better used towards law school. Also, I can now begin to go to Jujutsu on Saturday mornings again.
On Tuesday night I got plastered with a few people from school. I played a game I had never played before, it is called quarters. The object of the game is to take a quarter and try to bounce it off the table to land in a cup filled with alcohol (in this case it was beer). If you get it in you choose who has to drink it and then get to go again. It was fun, definitely a drinking game I plan on playing again.
My father is home and ok. The tests all came back negative. The hospital did find that he had a blood clot however and as a result a nurse has to come to the house once a day for a week to inject him with blood thinner medication.
So my birthday has come and gone, and more people than I had expected remembered it was my birthday; thank you to all those that remembered. However, there are two individuals that have forgotten that should not have…tisk tisk. One of those people will be getting married in a month and a half, so perhaps his mind is elsewhere, but it is also his birthday in ten days…which should have reminded him that perhaps his closest friend’s birthday has just come and gone. He has been down graded from a call wishing him happy birthday to a birthday card being mailed. It serves him right. As for the other one, belated happy birthday wishes are accepted within a reasonable time frame…so when you read this hop to it
