  • I had improv comedy class on Thursday.  The class is not being held in the primary location, but rather in a rented studio.  The studio is not large enough to properly accommodate the size of our class, though hopefully some people (at least one or two) decide to leave which generally occurs.

My deliveries for Meals on Wheels are going good.  The elderly that I deliver to are always so very nice, there is just one stop I don’t care for.  A nurse answers that door and she is not very friendly.  My view is that if you do not like a job, leave.  Don’t make other people unhappy because you are.  We live in a culture that affords us the opportunities to seek employment in practically any field, most of the time it is ourselves that put limits on how far we can go.

This week I haven’t been very good with the gym.  I did back, that was it.  Today I will do a brief workout for chest shoulders and biceps.  My right shoulder is bothering me and I do not want to make the situation worse if indeed there is a problem with it.

Jujitsu today was fun.  I have my throws, mat holds, chokes, and joint locks down pretty well and just need to work on self-defense in preparation for the Yellow Belt exam.  Self defense consists of defending against wrist and clothing holds, pushes, punches, etc…basically implementing all we have learned for White Belt in real world situations.

Tonight my girlfriend and I are going to see a group called Il Divo perform at Radio City.  They are supposed to be Opera/Pop; I have no idea what to expect.  Hopefully it doesn’t snow too much before we get back. I don’t want any commuting trouble.

When I was commuting to the city for the improv comedy class on Thursday I saw a girl reading a book called “Every Thug needs a lady” and I just thought it was hysterical.  Then on the way back to Staten Island, some guy was listening to his MP3 player with the volume turned up to the point that I could hear it clearly even with the rumble of the train.  Not only was it irritating to just have to listen to it while I was trying to read, but it was the Knight Rider theme song over and over again.

Click here to listen to the theme song just for memories and kicks:
