  • Yesterday while I was driving my car died.  I rolled to the curb with the little momentum I had, and I was a bit shocked.  It was the first time it had happened to me.  I believe the culprit was the fuel gage misreading the amount of fuel I had.  I basically ran out of fuel.  I was able to start the car back up again and make it the 2 – 3 minutes need to reach a gas station and fill up some 17.3 gallons of gas into the car.  That is the most I’ve ever put in it before.  I believe the last highest was just over 16.

I went to a special Jujitsu practice today.  The Sensei believes that I should be ready to take the Yellow Belt exam after about another month.  My goal for Jujitsu was to reach yellow this year, but if I do so in the first portion of this year, I will add another goal, reaching Green Belt.

On Saturday I went to Caroline’s Comedy Club in Manhattan to see a student from the improv class I’m in perform stand-up.  The show consisted of all the students from a stand-up comedy school in the city.  Overall I felt that most of them shouldn’t quite their day jobs, even some should go as far as not even pursuing the stand-up any further.  The majority…actually come to think of it…ALL of the students that performed attempted to rely on sexual jokes and inappropriate subject matter to get laughs.  I personally feel that if you can do it without going dirty or making fun of audience members, then you have some talent.
