I’m back from never never land.  But don't be suprised if I decide to return.

I have so far applied to both Hofstra and Rutgers.  As of right now I still have only one recommendation in.  It appears the second one is most likely not coming.  I have come to this conclusion since it has not shown up as of yet and I was told it was sent some twenty six days ago.  Lovely isn’t it.  I suppose I will just have to find someone else to write the recommendation.  I cannot understand why people say they will do something and then never do it, especially when they know it is important to the person that is asking.

I had x-rays done of my thumb.  It appears that it is not the policy of HIP to call you unless something is wrong with you, so after calling them once no phone call came and still receiving no response, I suppose the x-rays taken shed no light on my aching thumb.  Though I do suppose it might be getting better, but if it indeed is, it is taking its time.

I’ve been reading and finishing many books.  Yippy for me.

Been working out, going to Jujitsu class…not much to speak of in those two categories.

One more application left with one recommendation.  That is New York Law.  Hopefully I send that in this week.  Who knows though?  As you can see from my nonexistent posts, I haven’t been very motivated lately.

I was looking at the Time Warner Road Runner pricing planes and found it wonderfully amusing that they so blatantly attempt to rip off their customers.  They now offer a “wireless road runner” service.  Ha.  Wireless.  What a bunch of dimwads.  They charge 80 dollars for some poor sap to register two computers and then 5 dollars a month extra for a wireless charge.  All a person has to do is pay the regular (bargain priced, right…remember when internet access was 20 dollars a month?) 45 dollar subscription fee and then buy a wireless router, plug it into the modem and hook up as many damn computers as one wants to enjoy the internet without any activation fee or any extra wireless charge.  What a scam.  They should be ashamed of themselves.  Anything for an extra buck.

I love watching people run somewhere but then slow down when they are passing someone.  Or those people that begin crossing middle of the street at a good pace, but after several steps decide to slow down dramatically.  I wonder if they realize that the part of the crossing they decide to drop speed in is the most likely part that they will get run over in.

Okay, I wasn’t that motivated…it is 1:41am after all, I’m ready for bed.
